Academic Advancement
Those with volunteer clinical professor appointments are automatically PCFA members. If you have not been receiving communication from Lela DeGolia, please contact her to ensure that you have been added to the PCFA roster.
To apply for an academic appointment, please contact Claudia Huey in the Department of Psychiatry Academic Personnel Office.
To maintain your faculty appointment, you must meet certain minimum requirements.
Please click here for the latest guidelines (updated 07/2021) for being credentailed and maintaining an appointment from the Voluntary Clinical Faculty Appointments and Advancement Committee (VCFAAAC).
Please click here for the latest CV formatting requirements.
Volunteer clinical faculty members can create a UCLA Logon ID to access university resources (such as obtaining a UCLA e-mail account and using subscription-only medical references).
UCLA Logon ID
To create a UCLA Logon ID, please make sure you have a university ID number. Your ID number should have been assigned after the VCF on-boarding process. Please click here to create your UCLA Logon ID. Using UCLA Logon now requires a two-step authentication process.
Medical References
To access subscription-only medical references from home, you will need to download VPN software here. Once you are connected via VPN, you can access the medical references on UCLA Mednet.
